Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
