O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 Keep away from the Fire prepared for the infidels; 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). 133 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- 134 And those who, if they commit a shameful act or some wrong against themselves, remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins: For who can forgive except God? They should not be perverse about their doings, knowingly. 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This is a clear declaration for mankind, and a guidance and a warning for those who preserve themselves from evil. 138 Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers. 139 If you have been wounded they too have suffered a wound. We cause this alternation of night and day in the affairs of men so that God may know those who believe, taking some as witness (of truth) from your ranks, for God does not like those who are unjust. 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without God know who of you have struggled and who are patient? 142 You previously longed for death (in the way of Allah): now you have faced it, observing it with your own eyes. 143
