And when Abraham said: My Lord! Make safe this territory, and preserve me and my sons from serving idols. 35 “O my Lord! The idols have led many people astray; so whoever followed me, is indeed mine; and whoever disobeyed me – then indeed You are Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” 36 'Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring in a barren valley near Your Holy House; our Lord, in order that they establish the prayer. Make the hearts of people yearn towards them, and provide them with fruits, in order that they are thankful. 37 Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven. 38 Praise be to Allah who has given me Ishmael and Isaac in my old age! Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of the supplication. 39 My Lord, make me a performer of the prayer, and of my seed. Our Lord, and receive my petition. 40 Forgive me, our Lord, and forgive my parents and all the believers on the Day of Reckoning' 41
