Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
