Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
