1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 So leave them in their intoxication till a time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
