Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 And glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. 28 This is indeed a Reminder, so that he who will, takes a path to his Lord. 29 Yet you will not unless Allah wills; surely, Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
