We sent Moses with Our signs and full authority 96 to Pharaoh and his Council; but they followed Pharaoh's command, and Pharaoh's command was not right-minded. 97 He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led. 98 They were pursued by a curse in this (deceiving life of this world) and (so they will be pursued by a curse) on the Day of Resurrection. How bad is the curse (in this world) pursued by another curse (in the Hereafter). 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; it is rather they who wronged themselves. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 In this there is, certainly, a lesson for those who fear the torment of the next life in which all people will be gathered together 103 And We defer it not but to a term determined. 104 and when that Day arrives, no soul shall speak but by His leave. Among those some shall be damned, and others shall be blessed. 105 Now as for those who [by their deeds] will have brought wretchedness upon themselves, [they shall live] in the fire, where they will have [nothing but] moans and sobs [to relieve their pain,] 106 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. 107 ۞ And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing. 108 So O listener (followers of this Prophet), do not fall into doubt by what these disbelievers worship; they only worship just as their forefathers worshipped before; and indeed we shall pay them their due in full, undiminished. 109
