The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 facing one another. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and spreading shade 30 and flowing water, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
