The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
