And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
