We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
