The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a few from later times. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 and fruits abounding 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 So made them as maidens. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
