Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down which verifies what is already with you; and do not be the first to deny it, nor part with it for little gain; and beware of Me. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood and do not deliberately hide the truth 42 And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
