For, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 27 And [on that Day] thou wilt see all people kneeling down [in humility]: all people will be called upon to [face] their record: "Today you shall be requited for all that you ever did! 28 This is Our Book, that speaks against you the truth; We have been registering all that you were doing.' 29 Then as to those who believed and did good, their Lord will make them enter into His mercy; that is the manifest achievement. 30 But, to the unbelievers (it will be said): 'Were My verses not recited to you, but you were proud and were you not a sinful nation' 31 When it was said that the promise of God is true and that the Hour would inevitably come, you said, "We do not know what the Hour of Doom is, we are suspicious about it and we are not convinced". 32 And the evil of what they did will appear to them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! 33 And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers: 34 This is only because you had mocked the revelations of God and the worldly life had deceived you. On this day they will not be taken out of hell, nor will they be granted any favors. 35 So all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the whole Universe. 36 His is the supremacy in the heavens and the earth; and He is the all-mighty and all-wise. 37
