۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
