The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
