۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
