[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
