We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
