He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned (his) back, 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 For him who does not care, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 Though it is not your concern if he should not grow (in fulness). 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 and in awe [of God] 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let Man consider his nourishment. 24 We send down abundant water, 25 And We split the earth in clefts, 26 And We made corn grow, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 the densely tree'd gardens, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 Some faces on that day shall shine 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
