3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
