Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
