۞ O mankind! ye are needers unto Allah, and Allah! He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy 15 If He will, He can take you away and bring about a new creation. 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not equal, 19 nor are darkness and light 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
