Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 And, remember the Name of your Lord at the dawn and in the evening; 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 We created them, and We strengthened their joints; and, when We will, We shall exchange their likes. 28 Lo! this is an Admonishment, that whosoever will may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He admits to His Mercy whomsoever He pleases. As for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a grievous chastisement. 31
