Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
