We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
