What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
