Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
