The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
