Al-Mu' minoon 6 of 6
Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
