Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 in Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 we fed not the needy, 44 "And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly." 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
