The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
