Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Tell them: “Wait; I too am waiting with you.” 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Do you (Muhammad) ask them for any payment (for your preaching) which they cannot afford? 40 Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? 41 Or are they contriving a stratagem against you? If so, that stratagem will rebound against the unbelievers. 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
