Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
