And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
