Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On a Straight Way. 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
