۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
