Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 He it is Who caused the night and the day to succeed each other so that everyone who desires may learn a lesson or become grateful. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
