Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
