The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 those who turn away from all that is frivolous; 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 except with their wives, and what their right hands possess -- for then they are free from blame, 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 And those who fulfil their trusts and keep their promises; 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 These are the real gainers, 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 after this you shall surely die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 We have established for you gardens of palm trees and vineyards with this water with many fruits for you to consume. 19 Also, a tree which grows on the Tor of Sinai and gives oil and relish for its eaters. 20 And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat. 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
