Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
