1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 and stop them there for questioning: 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet? 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 there is waiting for them a known provision; 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 and they [who are lost in evil] are indeed bound to eat thereof, and to fill their bellies therewith. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 and behold, how was the end of them that were warned, 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74
