Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
