The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
