But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
