Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
