Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the morning brightness 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
