Al-Mulk 2 of 2
He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 16 Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning. 17 And assuredly those before them belied; then what wise hath been My wrath! 18 Have they not seen birds above them spreading and closing their wings, with none holding them except the Merciful One? He oversees everything. 19 Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion. 20 Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness. 21 Who is better guided: he who walks grovelling on his face, or he who walks upright on a Straight Path? 22 Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. 23 Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." 24 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 25 Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner. 26 Yet in the end, when they shall see that [fulfilment] close at hand, the faces of those who were bent on denying the truth will be stricken with grief; and they will be told, "This it is that you were [so derisively] calling for!" 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: 'He is the Merciful. In Him we believe and in Him we put all our trust. Indeed, you shall soon know who is in clear error' 29 Say: "Just think: If your water were to dry up in the morning who will bring you water from a fresh, flowing stream?" 30
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
