Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
